Inspiring and Generating Opportunity (I-Gop)

A group of five members, all ICPU graduates 2009, successfully organized a program called Inspiring and Generating Opportunity (I-Gop) in SBPI Gopeng. This program aimed to prepare students to face life after SPM, not only by giving interview tips, but also developing a first-class mind in facing global challenges. These are some of the snapshots captured throughout the program.

Tips - JPA Interview

Before the interview

1. Prepare smart dress (formal)
2. Prepare documents (e.g IC, interview letter, etc.)
3. Prepare your mental and physical

During interview

1. Check at a information board on the venue of your interview
2. Wait calmly, you may needed to reorganize your documents, do it calmly
3. Once you're called to the room, walk confidently
4. Greet the interviewers
5. Sit according to what have been arranged for you
6. There are two parts of interview: Introducing yourself, and topic discussion.
7. For the part I: Introducing yourself, you'll be asked either in Malay or English. If you're asked in Malay, answer in malay.
   
8. You would be asked about the country you would like to pursue studies
9. For this question, please prepare a good reason for it, at least not too , not simply "Australia, because it is near to my country" because I'm sure the interviewer would reply, "Then better for you to study in Malaysia.

Blog for SPM Leavers

For all SPM Leavers, me and my friends and the communities of Malaysian, have created a blog named http://spmleavers.blogspot.com - for all SPM leavers, now especially for those who just took their SPM results last week. Malam sebelum menghadiri interview..
1. Pastikan anda mengetahui segala informasi terkini..dpatkan segala maklumat dr pelbagai sumber seperti akhbar dan internet..bagi mereka yang jarang baca akhbar atau malas2 utk cari maklumat di internet,then ini la masanya..gunakan segala kemudahan yang ada utkmembantu anda dlm mencari maklumat..apa yang perlu anda tahu? Hmm isu2 semasa,lagi2 tentang institusi pendidikan di Malaysia..cara lain,bincang dgn rakan2 sama ada melalui ym atau email..boleh juga tanya kepada mana2 senior.. ................. baca lagi...

Preparation before the interview...
One of the crucial moments is for sure the time prior to the interview.... the golden moment before the judgement day (whether ur in or out???).. hehehe.. but no fret my friends,
don't be apprehensive or scared, as you don't need to prepare much... a few research and some practices should do the trick!!! and of course just RELAX!!!
